“Historically informed performance practice is a hot trend worldwide, in classical music,” says Glenn Siebert, Founder and Director of the festival. “This festival will unite a vibrant, extended community of national musicians, the considerable resources of the North Carolina School of the Arts and the Moravian Music Archives, the historic and quaint setting of Old Salem, national premieres of important manuscripts, our beautiful local performance venues, the Tannenberg organ, and innovative programming.”
